I think of all the fundraisers I have been at the most successful ones have been ones that are offering personalized engraved bricks.  Hospital fundraisers are the largest of them all.  You donate and you receive an engraved personalized brick that is display in the hospital.  Many do this as they can remember their loved ones that survived in that very hospital.  I purchased on of the personalized engraved bricks f or my mother who passed away from cancer in a hospital and the fundraiser was for a cancer wing in the hospital.  She will always be remembered.
